The Village of
Brockport is located along the historic Erie Canal
just to the west of Rochester. Located in the
Town of Sweden, it is Monroe County’s largest
village with a population of over eight thousand.
It is the home of the State University College at
Brockport, Lakeside Memorial Hospital and Allied
Frozen Foods. Brockport’s historic downtown is
listed on the State and National Register of
Historic Places and is a Preserve America Community.
The new Welcome Center, located at 11 Water Street
on the Erie Canal, is the information center for
local businesses and other news.
